Our consultants also use a customer profile and prospect sheet and this helps with forecasting and knowing where the customer sits in our Sales Funnel.

Tyre and Tube Australia (TTA) has become Australia’s leading wholesaler of commercial and industrial tyres specialising in the full range of Truck, Forklift, Earthmoving, Skidsteer, Ag/Tractor, ATV, Light Industrial and Tubes.  TTA is a national company that employs over 60 staff with 6 warehousing facilities and has been operating for over 15 years.  As our business is expanding everyday, we need to ensure we continue to develop our staff to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.

In August this year, TTA engaged Colin to customise a Sales Training Program that was tailored to TTA.  His program worked on the “HOW” to encourage our customers to engage in more products and our “Partner Program” to generate more sales for TTA.  This was carried out over 2 sessions being a month apart across each of the states with our Regional Managers, Sales Representatives and myself.

Over the past two months Chef’s Hat Australia has utilised the services of KBA to improve the hiring, training and efficiency of not only our sales staff but almost every system we use in the HR department.

KBA’s Staff Systems software has been easy to implement yet powerful to use and the managers here have found it gives them a greater ability to organise themselves and ensure that all requirements are met.

Two months ago our sales staff undertook KBA’s Sales Master Class over a two day period. Thank you for a most informative and challenging workshop.

After your training I did a lot of reviewing of what I was doing and how. I have simplified my ‘product’ offering and am currently redoing my website to make them more interactive so that potential clients are invited to respond to offers. I am only one person so this is a little slower than I would like. I am looking at facilities to enable credit card purchase of services directly from the website to provide an opportunity to buy at the time when interest is first generated.

I have reworked my ‘brochures’ to reflect the changed product offering and this has helped clarify the new direction in my mind.

I have started a ‘campaign’ on one of my offerings involving a Risk Management review or audit for metropolitan local government and I  have had a face to face meeting with the risk manager of one of the councils. I am pursuing by phone, the other 19 of my 20 targeted councils following a personalised letter from me to each of the CEOs.

I have emailed a wide range of potential attendees and am now following up the most promising by phone. As a procurement professional with over ten years in dealing with sales people of all shapes and sizes I thought taking on a sales role myself would be a piece of cake. I could not have been more wrong!

After going through the sales training with KBA I realised how out of touch I was with my prospective clients and I still cringe when I think about some of my early attempts at selling. The training I have since undertaken with you has given me the tools and confidence to successfully target and win new business.
